The inaugural British Columbia Beer Awards were announced at Heritage Hall on May 14th, 2010, during Vancouver Craft Beer Week. Certified judges and beer writers evaluated 188 entries across 11 beer style categories. Driftwood Brewing earned the most total awards, while both Yaletown Brewing Company and Phillips Brewing received two golds each, tying for the most first-place finishes. Yaletown’s Brick & Beam IPA was named Best in Show.
