Style Categories
The BC Beer Awards is a blind tasting competition that judges beers loosely based on the 2021 Beer Judge Certification Program Style Guidelines. Ciders will be loosely based on the 2025 Cider Guidelines.
Log in to the Beer Awards Platform and find our event. The BAP system is our portal where you can view the competition details, submit entries, print entry labels, and pay fees. If you do not already have an account there, you can create one.
Entry Fees
BCCB GuildMembers: $85 plus tax per entry. Members must be in good standing. If you are not sure, please contact Lundy at moc.reebtfarccbobfsctd-9131bd@nimda. A maximum of 15 entries per brewery.
Non Members: $150 plus tax per entry. A maximum of 15 entries per brewery.

No refunds for unshipped entries after the shipping deadline date: September 4, 2026

Allow time for shipping to ensure entries are received between August 25 to September 5, 2025.

Labels
All entries must have their own printed, official Bottle ID label affixed with tape. The commercial label must not be removed. If the beer does not have a commercial label, it may be entered with the competition label alone.
Packaging
Breweries must submit either one 6-pack or 4 individual bottles/cans for each entry. Each bottle/can may have a minimum volume of 250mL and a maximum volume of 1L.
Packing
All entries must be packed in a box suitable for 650mL/750mL/1L bottles, including six-packs and growlers. Boxes must be packed to be stackable at the drop-off location.
Liability
The competition organizers are not responsible for mis-categorized entries, mailed entries that are not received by the entry deadline, or entries that arrive damaged.
